I am a native Houstonian that has practiced audiology for over 5 years in the Houston area. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology given by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, and I have my license to practice audiology and hearing aid dispensing from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. With my educational background in speech and communication disorders, I understand not just the physical and anatomical aspects of hearing loss, but also the interpersonal levels of communication that are also affected by hearing loss.
I love working with both children and adults, and have wanted to be an audiologist for most of my life. I find that audiology is not just a job for me, but a fulfilling career choice that I love to practice each and every day. Living with hearing loss is frustrating for everyone, the person with the loss, and the family and friends that surround them. Hearing aids are there to help. My goal is to get each and every patient hearing to the best of their abilities.
